COMPLIMENTARY INITIAL CONSULTATION

Contact us today to schedule a complimentary phone or video consultation to discuss your child's needs and determine if your child may benefit from a comprehensive speech and language evaluation.

COMPREHENSIVE SPEECH AND LANGUAGE EVALUATION

Comprehensive evaluation of your child's communication strengths and needs using formal and informal assessment tools in order to develop an individualized treatment plan for your child. A written report with recommendations and a comprehensive treatment plan will be provided.

SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPY

Individual speech and language treatment sessions once or twice per week, 45 minutes per session, depending on your child's specific needs. A formal evaluation is required in order to initiate treatment services. If you'd prefer to use a recent evaluation conducted elsewhere, please note that there will be an additional fee to review the report and establish a treatment plan with Local Speech Co.

FINANCIAL

At this time, Local Speech Co. is a private pay company for speech and language services. We currently accept payment in the form of cash, check or credit card via our online payment system, and insurance is not accepted. A summary of services rendered (superbill) can be provided if needed for potential reimbursement. We encourage you to call your insurance provider to determine if there are any reimbursements for out-of-network costs. In some cases, your insurance may not cover the cost of speech and language therapy until you have met your deductible. In these cases, paying privately may in fact be more affordable. Getting Started: Services

WHAT TO EXPECT

Ready to get started? Here's what to expect after you contact me...

1. After contacting me via the "Contact" form or email, I will reply to you within 48 hours via email to schedule an initial consultation and discuss service rates. The complimentary initial consultation will help us determine if a comprehensive evaluation is warranted, as well as if Local Speech Co. is a good fit for your child and family's needs.

2. At the end of the initial consultation, we will determine if a comprehensive evaluation is warranted and schedule the initial evaluation for a time that works for you and your child. The initial evaluation helps us determine your child's specific strengths, areas of need and generate an individualized treatment plan. We will discuss scheduling of treatment sessions at the end of the evaluation.

3. Following the evaluation, a written report will be provided to you. We will review the report together during our first session, answer any questions that you may have and discuss what therapy will look like for your child. We will also solidify a schedule and location for therapy sessions (if this has not already been done). Then, let the therapy fun begin!
